Periodontal (Gum) Treatments

Dr. Lopez-Belio and her highly qualified and experienced hygienists treat all stages of periodontal disease. The goal is to attack the bacteria that reside under the gum line and cause swelling, bleeding, bone and tissue loss, and often tooth loss. Depending on the severity of the gum disease, a patient will undergo a series of deep cleanings, and where appropriate, removal of affected tissues with a laser.
