Tooth whitening can be administered at our office in a one-hour procedure involving the application of a gel containing hydrogen peroxide. Light activates the gel, effectively removing stains without damaging the tooth enamel. A short fluoride treatment concludes the procedure. Patients report excellent results!
Take-Home Tooth Whitening
For those patients that are not good candidates for the in-office tooth whitening procedure, such as patients undergoing photochemotherapy or those with sensitivity to light, Dr. Marisol Lopez-Belio offers a take-home system that is just as safe and painless. A special tray is made and filled with the tooth whitening gel to be worn overnight for a period of days.
